雪佛龙在印度开设价值 10 亿美元的发动机创新中心

　　总部位于美国的全球能源巨头雪佛龙公司宣布在印度班加罗尔开设新的价值 10 亿美元的工程和创新卓越中心 (ENGINE)，标志着该公司全球业务的重大扩张。该中心由雪佛龙即将上任的印度国家负责人 Akshay Sahni 领导，将专注于为雪佛龙的全球业务提供先进的技术解决方案，同时在低碳能源领域开拓创新。

　　ENGINE 中心位于贝兰杜尔附近，将成为雪佛龙工程和数字服务的枢纽，为印度顶尖人才提供有意义的机会。

　　萨尼是一位经验丰富的领导者，拥有斯坦福大学能源科学与工程博士学位，他热衷于将雪佛龙的全球专业知识带到印度。他相信，班加罗尔的科学人才将在应对当今能源挑战和开发未来可持续解决方案方面发挥关键作用。

　　Chevron opens USD1 billion ENGINE innovation hub in India

　　U.S.-based global energy major Chevron Corp. has announced the opening of its new USD1 billion Engineering and Innovation Excellence Centre (ENGINE) in Bengaluru, India, marking a significant expansion of the company’s global operations. Led by Akshay Sahni, Chevron’s incoming country head for India, the centre will focus on advancing technology solutions for Chevron’s global operations while also pioneering innovations in lower carbon energy.

　　Located near Bellandur, the ENGINE centre will serve as a hub for Chevron’s engineering and digital services, providing meaningful opportunities for top-tier talent in India.

　　Sahni, a seasoned leader with a Ph.D. in energy science and engineering from Stanford University, is passionate about bringing Chevron’s global expertise to India. He believes that Bengaluru’s scientific talent will play a pivotal role in addressing today’s energy challenges and developing tomorrow’s sustainable solutions.

　　Sahni’s journey with Chevron has taken him around the globe, from leading engineering teams in Venezuela, China and Kazakhstan, to managing assets in Thailand and California. He has also developed assets in Bangladesh, delivered key technology in the U.S. state of Louisiana and most recently led Chevron’s global technology strategy out of Houston, Texas.
